Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board will be conducted a Written Exam for the post of Legal Clerk. Written Exam will be held for Legal Clerk Posts. Written Exam will be held in OMR Mode. After The Written Test, Candidates will participate in the Typing Test. But the Skill Test (Typing Test) will only be held for the candidates who have successfully qualified the Written Test with 40% Marks.
PSSSB Legal Clerk Exam Pattern in Details
Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board has released the Exam Pattern separately on official website of PSSSB. We will update the syllabus and exam pattern here when official announcement. Objective Type written test will conducted for the candidates who have applied for the published Clerk (Legal) posts. Candidates in each category must obtain at least 40% marks in the written test to pass. Stay Connected for the latest updates.
Candidates who have secured minimum 40% Marks in PSSSB Legal Clerk Exam will participate in the Skill Test of Legal Clerk.
The Skill Test will be taken in Punjabi at the speed of 30 words per minute.
Punjabi Typing Test will be taken in Unicode Compliant Font Raavi.
The Skill Test will be held in Punjabi and English Languages.
English and Punjabi Typing Test will be qualifying nature only.
The Common Merit List will generate on the basis of the marks obtained in Written Test.
The Exam will conduct in Multiple Choice Questions format. OMR Sheets will be used for answering the questions.
There will be negative marking. Each question carries 1 mark. Each wrong answer will be penalty for 0.25 marks. The question(s) not attempted will receive no credit or discredit.

Knowledge related to Political and Scientific fields, Sports, Cinema and Literature etc. Important Events, Freedom and Social Movements and their Leaders of India and Punjab. Constitutional & Administrative law, its Features, Central and State Executive, Judicial System, Centre-State Relation Citizenship, Fundamental Rights & Duties of the citizens.. Major personalities in history of Punjab, Punjabi literature, folklore, performing arts and crafts.
Mental Ability Syllabus

Civil Law:- Law of Evidence, Indian Sale Goods Act, Indian Contract Act, Law of 50 Torts, Civil Procedure Code, Indian Labour Law and Rules, Law of Limitation, Indian Partnership Act, Hindu Law, Specific Relief act, Muslim Personal Law, Law of Registration and Administrative law etc.

PSSSB Legal Clerk Skill Test
Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board will conduct a Written Test followed by Skill test for the candidates who have applied for Legal Clerk Exam. Legal Clerk Exam will be Objective Type Multiple Choice questions based exam. For the shortlisted candidates from Written Exam will only be participated in the Skill Test. Skill test will only be qualifying based only. Skill Test will be held in English and Punjabi Languages.
Written Exam and Skill Test will be held at Punjab Examination Centers.
