Odisha Police Constable Communication Eligibility Criteria
a) Must have passed +2 Examination or equivalent Examination in Science with (1) Physics (2) Chemistry and (3) Mathematics or Electronics or Statistics or Computer Science or Information Technology conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or by any other recognized Board or Council; or passed the 3 year Diploma Course in engineering subjects approved/offered by State Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training, Odisha or by All India Council for Technical Education / University Gant Commission.
b) Must have passed Odia as one of the subjects in the High School Certificate Examination or an examination in Odia Language equivalent to M.E. standard recognized or conducted by the School and Mass Education Department of Government of Odisha
Odisha Police Constable Age Limit:
(i) Age: Must not be less than 18 years of age and be not more than 23 years of age as on 01.01.2021. (ii) Upper Age limit relaxation: 5 years in case of ST SC, SEBC, Home Guards & Women candidates, period of service rendered in Armed Forces in case of Ex-Servicemen. In case of Home Guards, one should have completed 3 years of enrolment without any interruption on the date on which the advertisement is published and should be below 28 years of age as on 01.01.2021. In case of Group-D employees, candidate must have rendered at least 5 years of continuous service in Group-D post and are below 43 years of age. In-service contractual Employees who have rendered at least one year of continuous service prior to commencement of the Odisha Group-C Posts (Contractual Appointment) Rules, 2013 and are below 45 years of age are eligible.

Selection Process (i) Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE): The questions will be of objective type in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format. The candidate will be able to see the question, along with its answer options on a computer screen and will be required to mark the correct answer on the computer screen itself with the help of mouse, (ii) Physical Standards Measurement:

Three times the number of vacancies (category wise), basing on their performance in the CBRE, will be called to appear for the Physical Standard Measurement and only those qualifying in the same shall be allowed to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test Physical Standard Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test are qualifying in nature and carry no marks. Marks for NCC Certificate: NCC ‘A’ Certificate 01 Mark; NCC ‘B’ Certificate: 02 Marks; NCC C Certificate: 03 Marks.
