NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) 2020 (NEET (UG) – 2020) will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental & other Colleges/ Institutes in India.
Current Update (27-08-2020):
The NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) will be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). The exam was to be held on 13.05.2020., but due to the COVID 19 situation th exam was postponed by Union Ministry of Human Resource Development. The NEET-UG exam date has been released by NTA. The exam will now be held on 13.09.2020. The NTA has released the NEET UG exam admit card on 26.08.2020. The candidates who have registered for the NEET UG exam can now download their admit card from the official website of NEET UG
About Exam Date & Admit Card:
National Testing Agency will conduct the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) examination on 13.09.2020 for admission to MBBS/BDS. The Question Paper will be based on (Physic, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) subject. There will be Multiple Choice Questions. The time duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
Around 15.97 Lakh candidates have been registered for NEET (UG) 2020.
NTA has ensured that more than 99% candidates get their first choice of Centre Cities in NEET (UG) examination.
The number of Examination Centers have also been increased from 2546 to 3843 in case of NEET (UG) exams.
In order to ensure proper social distancing inside the examination halls, the number of candidates per room has been reduced from earlier 24 to 12,
Admit card for NEET exam has been released on the official website of NEET UG on 26.08.2020. No admit card will be sent by post to thecandidates. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website by visiting the link given below. Stay connected with us for any upcoming updates.
Admission to MBBS / BDS course will be on the basis of merit list prepared by NTA only. To appear in the merit list, the candidate has to get at least 50 percent marks. For SC / ST / OBC related candidates, this limit has been relaxed to 40 percent.
The Questions will be based On Multiple choice (with Four Option and Single Correct/ best Options).
The questions Paper will be Based On Subject Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology (Botany & Zoology).
The Total Number Of Questions 180 . And Total Marks 720. Physics: 45 Questions (180 Marks) Chemistry: 45 Questions (180 Marks) Biology (Botany & Zoology): 90 Questions (360 Marks)
Each question carries 04 (four) marks. For each correct answer / best option, the candidate will get 04 (four) marks.
For each wrong answer, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total marks.
