Indian Army: SSC-(Short Service Commission)

What is Short Service Commission in IndianAmry: Short Service Commission is a branch of Indian Defense forces which hire the candidates for short term service that maybe 10 to 14 year depending on the position and class of duty. SSC hires the candidates for Technical, non-technical both, man and woman, for the woman SSC (Woman) hire only the woman candidates for their suitable jobs.

  • If you have completed your tenure of service in SSC so you can move to permanent joining. You can extend your job tenure for 4 years, during this period you can resign at any time. It depends on the skills you able to go for permanent or not.
  • For technical SSC hires the Graduate, Post Graduate, in technical Field (B.tech \BE or B.sc). exam conduct under the UPSC twice in a year.
  • After qualifying exam candidate should clear the SSB (Physical, and mentality test) and after qualifying the SSB, the Candidate will be trained at OTA Chennai.

Indian Army: PC- (Permanent Commission)

Join Indian Army: UPSC Entry Schemes

NDA  and CDS are the entrance exams that are conducted by Union Public Service Commission for Commissioned Officers. Each exam having different criteria of requirement and having different job profiles. Through UPSC Candidates can join Indian Army, Indian Air force and Indian Navy. These exams Conduct twice in a year. For further details, we have to discuss each one by one.

Indian Army: NDA (After 12th) Entry Scheme

NDA-(National Defense Academy) is Conducted under the UPSC twice in a year in for Defense forces in Army, Airforce, and Navy. Candidate can join the Indian Army as Commissioned Officer for the rank of Lieutenant. After the Selection, the Candidate will be trained at IMA Dehradun.

Indian Army: NDA Exam Fee

Generally, the examination fee is 100 rupee which can be submitted through online by net banking, Master card, Debit Card, Credit Card, etc. and Offline in SBI by Cash, fee relaxation can be allowed to SC/ST and OBC Candidate and Sons of JCOs, SCOs and ORs.


Indian Army: NDA Exam Eligibility

Candidate should at least 10+2 or Intermediate passed from any state board having 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Math each and physically fit in all aspects, Should be Unmarried. And having Age Between 16.5 to 19.5 year according to the first day of the month of registration.


Indian Army: NDA Exam Plan

Exam conducted by UPSC Online in two parts. first is MCQ Test consists of Mathematic of 300 marks and General Ability test of 600 marks so the first part is of 900 marks. Selected candidates go for the further process which SSB Test/ Interview of 900 Marks Separately.  Duration of Training is 3 year in NDA and 1 Year in IMA

Join Indian Army: CDS Exam (After Graduation) Entry Scheme

CDSE conducts twice in a year under UPSC and hires graduates for (IMA and OTA SCC), and Final year Students of Graduate can also apply for CDSE. Selected candidates can join the Indian Army, Air force, Navy. And join permanently under PC (Permanent Commission). After selection candidates will train at IMA Dehradun and OTA Chennai. Indian Army: CDS Exam Eligibility

CDSE has it’s own Minimum Educational, Physical Requirements, and also having Age limitation. Candidates should have complete the minimum Requirement criteria, which is Age must between in 19 to 24 years for IMA and 19 to 25 Year for OTA SCC, Must be Graduate from any recognized university, must be Unmarried and Citizen of India.


Indian Army: CDS Exam Fee

  • Candidate must be an Unmarried Female
  • Must have Graduation from any Recognized University.
  • Age Should be in between 19 to 25 Years.
  • Final year Graduates can also apply. Training Center is OTA Chennai of 49 Weeks and All the instructions, Exam Procedure; the selection process is army as CDSE.

What is Indian Army UES: University Entry scheme available only for Pre Final year Engineering Graduates Male Candidates who wish to join the Indian Army. The Selected Candidates will be trained at IMA Dehradun, it organizes once in year and vacancies can vary from time to time. Indian Army: UES Selection process

The Selection Process of the UES entry scheme is based on Prelims Interview in the University, After the successful selection, the selected candidate will be deputed to SSB Round. Only those students can attend the SSB Interview who qualifies the Prelims Interview. Selected candidates will be appointed according to their Score Merit. Training Conducted at IMA Dehradun After Selection of Duration 1 Year.


Indian Army: TGC Entry Scheme

Those candidates can join The Indian Army through IMA Dehradun, who are in the final year of the Engineering Graduation (B.tech/BE) and Pass out of Early Year. This selection conducted by Respective Command Headquarters once in a year. After selection, candidates are appointed as Lieutenant Rank under SSC, and after the job tenure, the eligible Candidates can be promoted as Permanent. Vacancies are based on the Respective Discipline of Engineering.

  • Candidate must be an Indian Citizen, must be competed Engineering Graduation or in the Final year.
  • Age Should be in between 20 to 27 years
  • Must be Unmarried.

Indian Army: TGC Selection process

The Selection of the TGC Entry Scheme is Based on the Shortlisting of Application. The Eligible Candidate wants to Join through TGC, have to Submit their requested application on Offical Website. The Shortlisted candidate will be called for SSB round at IMA Dehradun. Training Conducted at IMA Dehradun After Selection of Duration 1 Year.


Indian Army: SSC (Tech) Man and Woman Entry Scheme

SSC Tech- Short Service Commission Tech: Here Man and Woman can apply who completed their engineering Graduation or in the Final year. They can join Indian Army through OTA Chennai. This exam conducted by Respective Command Headquarters twice in a year. After selection, candidates are appointed as Tech Lieutenant Rank under SSC, and after the tenure, eligible Candidates can be promoted as Permanent. There are 2 Exams Conducted by Command Head Quarters, Prelims, and SSB. The syllabus is to be asked is Based on respected Discipline. Only those students can attend the SSB Interview who qualifies the Prelims. Selected candidates will be appointed according to their Score Merit. Training Conducted at OTA Chennai After Selection of Duration 49 Weeks.

Those candidates do not belong to the technical field and also are Graduates can make their career in Indian Army. Indian Army hired the candidates through NCC both male and female and Law students for Judge Advocate General. These candidates have to clear the examinations which are conducted by Integrated HQ MoD (Army).


Indian Army: JAG (Judge Advocate General) Entry

  • Candidate must graduate with 55%.
  • Candidates must have completed 3 Years of service in NCC Senior Div.

  • There are 11 Zonal Recruiting offices in India which hire the candidates for below officer rank.
  • These are, 2 Gurkha Recruiting depots having independent recruiting offices, 59 Army recruitment offices in addition to 47 regimental centers which hire through open rally systems.
  • Most of joining are done by This process for under officer rank. The main minimum eligibilities are 10th or high school, physical, running, and must be an Indian citizen.
