Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) Conducted by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) Online Registration process for admission in class VI for academic session 2022 in all the 661 Navodaya Vidyalaya in India. The registration process begins from 23.09.2021. The Last Date for online application has been extended upto 30.11.2022. The students can apply for JNVST Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 admission online. The admission in class VI will be offered to the students on the basis of the entrance test conducted by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. The test will be conducted offline on 30th April 2022. The candidates can apply online for JNVST Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Admission.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Admission and Exam

JNVST 2021 (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test) for admission in class VI of Navodaya Vidyalaya will be conducted by NVS (Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti) on 30.04.2022. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Class VI application forms are released by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti on 23.09.2021. The application portal will remain open till 30.11.2021. The candidates can apply online from the official website of Navodaya Vidyalaya.

How To Fill JNVST 2022 Class VI Admission Form

  • The candidates can apply for JNVST 2021 Navodaya Vidyalaya Class VI Admission through the online process. Registration can be done free of cost
  • The eligible candidates have to fill up the online application form and upload the certificates issued by the headmaster/ Principal of the school where the candidate has studied class V with the candidate’s photograph along with the signature of the candidate and his parent/guardian.
  • The image size should be between 10-100 kb only.
  • In the case of the candidate from NIOS candidate should obtain B certificate and residence should be in the same district where he/she is seeking admission.
  • A help desk is available in al the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya to assist the candidates/Parents to complete the application process free of cost.
  • The candidates/Parents can also approach the help desk along with the candidate, required documents, candidate’s photograph, a valid mobile number and E-mail ID for verification purpose.

JNVST 2021 Result Announcement

The result for JNVST Navodaya Vidyalaya Class VI Admission will be announced online by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. The proposed date for JNVST result 2021 is in June 2022. The Candidates can download the result form the admission portal of JNVST. The result will also be displayed in the offices of the following:

  • Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya
  • District Education Minister
  • District Magistrate
  • Deputy Commissioner, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti of the region

JNVST Selection and Admission

  • Selection of the candidate is not only depend upon the JNVST. The candidate must provide all relevant certificates and documents at the time of actual admission.
  • The selection of candidate before actual admission in provisional.
  • The candidate/Parents are advised to apply for TC from present schhol only after the verification of documents and confirmation of admission by the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
  • The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes will have to produce a caste certificate at the time of seeking admission.
  • Candidates belonging to rural category have to produce a certificate that the candidate has studies class III, IV, V from a school located in rural area.
  • Candidates who have applied under Divyang category, Handicapped, Hearing Impared, and Visually Handicapped, will have to produce a medical certificate signed by the Chief Medical Officer of the District at the time of admission.
  • Candidates belonging to Transgender Category will have to submit a certificate from the competent authority prescribed by the concerned state govt.

Documents to be Submitted After Selection

The candidates/Parents have to submit the following documents at the time of verification after the selection through Entrance Test:

  • Proof of date of Birth
  • Proofs for eligibility as per the condition of ZNVS.
  • In case of the candidate seeking admission under rural quota, a certificate from the competent authority to verify that the candidates has studied class III , IV and V from the rural area.
  • Residence certificate in prescribed proforma in case of NIOS study only.
  • Any other documents required.

JNVST Eligibility:

  • Only the candidates who belong to the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has been opened.
  • A candidate must not have born before 01-05-2009 and after 30-04-2013, this will apply to candidates of all categories.
  • A candidate appearing in JNVST class VI 2021 must be studying in class V for the whole academic session 2020-2021 or B-Certificate competency course of National Institute of Open Schooling in the same district where he/she is seeking admission.
  • Candidate who has not been promoted and admitted to class V before 15th September 2020 is not eligible to apply.
  • No candidate is eligible to appear in the selection test for the second time, under any circumstances.
