Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Exam:

ICG Yantrik 02/2021 Batch Stage-I Exam is Scheduled in March/April 2021.. The Exact dates of exam notify on the Official Website of Join Indian Coast Guard (https://joinindiancoastguard.gov.in/). Successfully shortlisted candidates in Stage 1 Online Exam will be called for Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Medical Examination.

Indian Coast Guard Yantrik stage-I Online Exam Pattern for the is as Follows:

  • Exam Will be Objective Type (MCQ).
  • There will be NO negative marking in Written Test.
  • Section 1 Questions will be related to Math, Reasoning, Science and GK.
  • Section 2 Questions is based on Branch Related Questions (EE/EC/ME).

NOTE: Candidate will Choose Any 1 Section According to their Engineering Branch from Section III, IV and Section V.

Exam Pattern – Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Recruitment 2021

Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Syllabus in Detail

Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Syllabus

Note: Those candidates who qualify written test will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and initial Medical Examination. The testing procedure will take 2-3 days.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) will be conducted for all those who qualify in the written test. All candidates are advised to be in possession of sport rig i.e. Sport Shoe, T-Shirt, Trouser, etc. Qualifying PFT as per the standards given below is compulsory. The PFT will include the following:-

  1. 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes.
  2. 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak).
  3. 10 Push-ups.

List of Documents: 
Candidates are required to appear at the venue with the following original documents. Original educational certificates will be returned after verification.

  1. Three copies of the pre-filled e-admit card.
  2. Two copies of the application form.
  3. The original mark sheet and passing certificates of 10th class.
  4. Original mark sheet of all semesters and certificate of diploma.
  5. Proof of identity such as passport, driving license, voter ID-card, Aadhar card, school/ college ID-card or any other photo identity proof.
  6. Original caste certificate (if applicable) of their respective state issued by Tehsildar/ SDM/ DM.
  7. Original caste (if applicable)/ Income certificate for EWSs (Economically Weaker Sections) as per Govt. of India format (No other format will be entertained) available on the ICG website.
  8. Photocopies of all required documents self-attested such as 10th class pass certificate and mark sheet, diploma certificate and mark sheets of all semester, caste certificate wherever required and sports certificate, etc.
  9. In case of reserved category applicants, availing age/percentage relaxation, either the current or permanent address of online application should be the same as the address mentioned in caste/category certificate (SC, ST & OBC)/Income certificate for EWSs (Economically Weaker Sections). Further, in case of OBC, the category certificate should not be more than 3 financial Years old and for such cases renewed/fresh certificate to be produced shall be in original as per Govt. of India format (No other format will be entertained).
  10. Ten recent color passport size identical photographs with a blue background.
  11. The date of the issue of all documents has to be 22 Mar 2020 or any date prior to 22 Mar 2020.
  12. Any candidate who does not carry all these documents at the time of examination shall not be permitted to appear in the examination.

Medical Standards:

  • Medical examination will be conducted by authorized military doctors as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to Enrolled Personnel on entry.
  • Height – : Minimum height 157 cms
  • Chest -: Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms.
  • Weight -: Proportionate to height and age +10% acceptable.
  • Hearing -: Normal
  • Fitness Level –: No Cardio-vascular disease, surgical deformities like knock knee, flat feet, etc. infection of ears, no history of fits or psychiatric ailment, varicose vein, undergone corrective surgery for eyesight, etc. are not eligible.
  • Visual Standards –: s. 6/24 without glasses and 6/9 & 6/12 with glasses for Better Eye and Worse Eye respectively.
  • Tattoo(s) -: Permanent body tattoos are not permitted on any part of the body. However, certain concessions are permitted to candidates belonging to tribal areas communities as declared by the Govt. of India. For other candidates, permanent body tattoos are only permitted on the inner face of forearms i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of the hand.   • Final Enrolment Medical Examination
  • The basic training will commence in August 2020 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training. Yantriks are liable to be discharged as UNSUITABLE due to unsatisfactory performance at any time during the training.
