What is the Exam process of IBPS Bank PO:
The Vacancy Notification of IBPS Bank PO Exam is released in the month of July / August. The Prelims exam is conducted in October month & the Mains exam is Conducted in November Month. but due to Covid-19 pandemic it getting late yet. There are mainly Three Tiers in the IBPS PO exam which are-
- Tier-1: Preliminary exam (100 Marks)– Qualifying in nature only
- Tier 1 exam is only a screening exam for the main exam
- Tier-2: Main exam (225 marks) include Objective 200 marks and Descriptive 25 Marks
- Tier 2 exam score is added with tier 3 exam score to set merit list
- Tier-3: Interview (100 marks)
- the selection of the candidate will be based on the merit list and performance in the tier-3 round.

Tier-3: Interview
- Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online Main examination will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in
each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. - Interviews will be conducted at select centers along with Document Verification.
- The total marks allotted for the Interview are 100.
- The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than
40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates). - The weightage (ratio) of Online Main Exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively

Penalty for Wrong Answers: IBPS PO Exam Consist of a Negative Marking System (1/4th of equivalent marks) 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Preliminary exam and Main exam objective type both.

Selection Process
- This process held in all Three Stages for further Stage.
- Shortlisting will be done on the basis of category vise Merit List in Each stage.
- The Final Selection merit list will be Designed on behalf of the Main exam and Interview Score.
- Selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category
- After the Final selection Merit, the Selected candidate will be deputed to further the Joining process.
- The Candidate will be subjected to continuous assessment during the probation period.
