How to be a Scientist in DRDO: The hiring of Scientists is processed through the Requirement and Assessment Center (RAC), and this service known as the Defense Research and Development Service (DRDS). These are the underclass of Group A and the higher-paying scale
Responsibilities of DRDO Scientist:– In the DRDO all the Scientists are responsible for Research, Development, testing, and Creativity. these scientist helps to find the solution of the projects. scientist working under the projects responsible for project privacy and security.
Pay-scale:

How to be a Scientist in DRDO:
The requirement of Assessment center is to hire the Graduate Engineers and Post Graduate Science Candidates for Scientist ‘B’ position in DRDO, which allow the candidates to work as a Scientist and grow. These are different Branches under Scientist ‘B’ Required Different Eligibilities. But a Common Eligibility is Compulsory for all that is GATE Exam.

Selection process of RAC DRDO
What is the Selection process of Scientist in DRDO:
- RAC Conduct screening test and Interview test both.
- First off all RAC allows only those candidates for screening tests who have valid scores in the gate or Aggregate or NET exam.
- Candidates who appear for the Descriptive Examination will be further shortlisted for Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:5 in order of merit list prepared on the basis of the Descriptive Examination only.
- RAC Conducts two Descriptive and Personal Interview for Scientist ‘B’ of 300 marks for each.
- Exams are conducted in DRDO Centers, after the exam interview conduct at Delhi in DRDO/RAC which is Mandatory.
- Candidates Shortlisted According to their Gate Score and descriptive examination.
- Allotment of the Candidate is processed on the basis of Merit.
Eligibility
What is the Eligibility of Scientist in DRDO:

- Age must be less than or equal 28 years for Gen, 31 years for OBC, 33 years for SC/ST Candidate.

- There are two Tests in the Technician Exam, first is Tier-1 (CBT) and the second is Trade test.
