રાજય સરકારે સીધી ભરતીમાં નિમણુંક પામતા તમામ ઉમેદવારો પાસે પાયાના કોમ્પ્યુટર જ્ઞાનની પૂર્વ જરૂરીયાત આવશ્યક ગણેલ છે. જે માટે ડોએક દ્વારા લેવાની સી.સી.સી. સર્ટીફીકેટ, ધોરણ-૧૦ અથવા ધોરણ-૧ર, ડીમ્પ્લોમાં અને ડીગ્રી પદવી સુધીના કોમ્પ્યુટર વિષયવાળા અભ્યાસક્રમો જે માન્ય યુનિ./શૈક્ષણિક તાલીમી સંસ્થાઓ દ્વારા અપાય છે. તે સ્વીકૃત ગણવામાં આવ્યા છે. સરકારી નોકરીમાં દાખલ થવા માટેની આ એક પૂર્વ લાયકાત છે. આથી પસંદગી બાદ સરકારની ખાતાકીય તાલીમના ભાગરૂપે અને અથવા અજમાયસી સમય દરમ્યાન સરકારે ઠરાવેલ વર્ગ-૩ માટેની સી.સી.સી. સ્તરની પરીક્ષા સરકારના પરીક્ષા કેન્દ્રો સ્પીપ તેમજ જી.ટી.યુ. દ્વારા લેવાની પરીક્ષા પાસ કરવી ફરજીયાત છે.
