About CSIR UGC NET Exam

The CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) NET (National Eligibility Test) Exam is conducted every year by NTA (National Testing Agency). The exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian Nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor in Indian Universities and colleges subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC. The exam is conducted yearly. The application process for CSIR UGC NET exam 2020 has been done by NTA from 22.08.2020 To 10.09.2020. CSIR UGC NET Exam Pattern

  • The CSIR UGC NET exam will be a three-hour exam.
  • The exam shall consist of the Multiple Choice Questions only.
  • The maximum marks for the exam will be 200.
  • The question paper shall be divided in three parts.

Part-A● This part will be common to all subjects.
● This part will consist of 20 General Aptitude questions.
● The candidate will be required to answer any 15 questions carrying 2 marks each. (30 Marks)
Part-B● Part-B shall consist of only MCQ questions.
● The total marks allocated to this section will be 70.
● The Maximum number of questions to be attempted are in the range of 20-35
Part-C● The questions shall be of analytical nature
● The total marks allocated to this section will be 100 out of 200
